About Trending Now

Trending Now is a daily blog that explains trending and viral stories in plain language.

Every day, social media moves fast. A clip, a post or a headline blows up, and it's hard to tell what actually happened, why people are reacting, and what's still unconfirmed. That's what we do here — one clear story at a time.

Who we are

Trending Now is an independent blog run by a small editorial team. We are not affiliated with any social media platform, news outlet or advertiser featured on the site.

How we choose stories

We cover whatever people are genuinely talking about that day — Trending, Viral, World, Entertainment, Sports and Tech. A story makes the site when it is trending and verifiable from a credible source, not because it is loud.

How we write

Every post covers what happened, why it's trending, what is confirmed versus what is still unconfirmed, and links to the original reporting. We write original summaries. We do not copy other people's articles, and we do not present rumours as facts.

What you may see on the site

The site may show third-party advertisements and affiliate links to two digital products, clearly labelled as such. Advertising never decides what we cover or what we say about a story.
